Level 3 NVQ

The Local Land Charges and Property Information NVQ Level 3 is for two groups of staff:

  • those working in the Local Land Charges department who contribute to maintaining the register (but do not have the overall responsibility for it), provide assistance to individual users of the Local Land Charges service and carry out searches of the register
  • those working in other local authority departments – such as highways, planning, building control, environmental health and housing – who are involved in responding to local land and property enquiries (but do not have overall responsibility for providing this service).

Candidates must take a total of eight units


Mandatory Units
Candidates must take all six mandatory units.
ADM301 Carry out your responsibilities at work
ADM302 Work within your business environment
ADM320 Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
CS21 Deliver reliable customer service
CS31 Resolve customer service problems
LLCF Provide information and assistance to individuals accessing the local land and property information service

Optional Units

Candidates must take two optional units:

  • either LLCB and LLCG (for those working in Local Land Charges departments)
  • or LLCD and LLCH (for those working in other departments).
LLCB Contribute to maintaining the statutory Local Land Charges Register
LLCD Contribute to maintaining records in order to respond to official local land and property enquiries
LLCG Carry out Searches of the Local Land Charges Register and respond to official local land and property enquiries
LLCH Provide responses to official local land and property enquiries
