Local Land Charges and Property Information NOS are for anyone working in Local Land Charges or involved in providing responses to property information enquiries in local authorities.

This includes both managers and staff who work either

• in a Local Land Charges department and are involved in maintaining the register, providing information and advice about the Local Land Charges service to a wide range of different people and carrying out searches of the register, or
• in other local authority departments – such as highways, planning, building control, environmental health and housing – who are involved in responding to local land and property enquiries.
